GoGetter Cambridge (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is an English-language learning and Cambridge English examination preparation application operated by Rohit Sachwani, trading as GoGetter English.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use GoGetter Cambridge, how and why we use it, the services that may process it on our behalf, and the rights available to you.

This Privacy Policy applies to the GoGetter Cambridge mobile applications for iOS and Android and to the GoGetter Cambridge web application.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use GoGetter Cambridge, we may collect the following categories of information.

Account Information

When you create or use an account, we may process information such as:

• Your name or display name
• Email address
• Unique account/user identifier
• Authentication provider
• Account creation and authentication information

Passwords used with email authentication are handled through our authentication provider. We do not store your password in readable form.

Google and Apple Sign-In

You may be able to sign in using Google or Sign in with Apple.

When you choose one of these methods, we receive information necessary to authenticate you, which may include your name, email address, unique provider identifier and authentication credentials or tokens.

When using Sign in with Apple, Apple may allow you to hide your personal email address and provide us with an Apple private relay address instead.

We do not receive your Google or Apple account password.

Profile Information

If you choose to complete or customize your profile, we may process:

• Display name
• Profile photograph
• Selected Cambridge level
• Estimated level
• Learning preferences and onboarding responses

Uploading a profile photograph is optional.

Learning and Progress Data

To provide the learning service and track your progress, GoGetter Cambridge may store information such as:

• Selected course level, including B2, C1 or C2
• Level Test responses and results
• Practice exercise answers
• Exercise scores
• Study Plan progress
• Skill performance
• Completed exercises
• Writing exercise submissions
• Writing assessment results
• Learning progress and related educational information

We use this information to provide your course, maintain your progress and personalize your learning experience.

2. AI Writing Assessment

GoGetter Cambridge includes an AI-assisted Writing assessment feature.

When you choose to submit a Writing exercise for correction, the text you submit and relevant information about the writing task are securely sent to an artificial intelligence service provided through the OpenAI API.

The AI service analyses your submission and may generate:

• A Cambridge-style practice assessment
• Scores for Content
• Scores for Communicative Achievement
• Scores for Organisation
• Scores for Language
• Overall feedback
• Suggested improvements
• Corrections
• An alternative improved version of your writing

These assessments are provided for educational and practice purposes only.

They are not official Cambridge English assessments, examination results or certifications and should not be interpreted as such.

Your Writing submissions may also be stored in your GoGetter Cambridge account together with the resulting assessment so that the App can provide the feature and maintain your learning records.

You should avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal information about yourself or other people in Writing exercises.

Data submitted through the OpenAI API is handled according to OpenAI’s applicable API data-processing practices. OpenAI does not use API inputs and outputs to train its models by default unless the API customer has explicitly opted into data sharing.

3. Profile Photographs and Files

If you upload a profile photograph, the image may be stored using cloud storage services associated with the App.

Profile photographs are used to personalize your account and are associated with your authenticated user profile.

You should only upload photographs that you have the right to use.

4. Payments and Premium Access

GoGetter Cambridge may offer paid Premium access.

Web Purchases

Purchases made through the GoGetter Cambridge website may be processed by Stripe.

Stripe may process payment information necessary to complete the transaction. GoGetter Cambridge does not directly store complete credit or debit card details.

We may receive transaction-related information necessary to confirm payment and grant Premium access, such as payment status, transaction identifiers, purchased plan and entitlement information.

Mobile Applications

Purchases offered directly through the iOS or Android applications may be processed through the applicable platform’s purchasing systems, such as Apple or Google.

Apple, Google or other applicable payment providers process payment information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

We may receive information necessary to verify purchases and determine your Premium entitlement.

5. Notifications

If you enable notifications, GoGetter Cambridge may process a device or push-notification token and related technical information required to deliver notifications.

Notifications may be used for purposes such as study reminders and other service-related communications.

You can control notification permission through your device settings.

6. Technical and Usage Information

Our technology providers may automatically process limited technical information necessary to operate, secure and maintain the App.

This may include information such as:

• Device or browser information
• Operating system
• App version
• IP address
• Technical identifiers
• Authentication events
• Error and diagnostic information
• Security and service logs

The exact information processed may depend on the platform and services being used.

7. How We Use Your Information

We process information where necessary to provide GoGetter Cambridge and for legitimate purposes connected with operating the service.

These purposes may include:

• Creating and managing your account
• Authenticating you
• Providing B2, C1 and C2 learning content
• Providing Level Tests
• Tracking learning progress
• Creating and maintaining Study Plans
• Evaluating practice exercises
• Providing AI-assisted Writing assessments
• Saving your results
• Providing Premium access
• Processing or verifying purchases
• Sending notifications you have enabled
• Preventing abuse and protecting accounts
• Troubleshooting technical problems
• Maintaining and improving the reliability of the service
• Responding to support and privacy requests
• Complying with applicable legal obligations

Where required by law, processing may be based on your consent, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests or compliance with a legal obligation.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent subject to applicable law.

8. Service Providers

We use third-party technology providers to operate certain parts of GoGetter Cambridge.

These may include:

Google / Firebase

We use Google Firebase services for functionality that may include authentication, databases, cloud storage, backend functions and related application infrastructure.

Google generally acts as a data processor for Firebase customer data where applicable.

Google Sign-In

If you choose Google Sign-In, Google processes information necessary to authenticate your Google account.

Apple

Apple provides services including Sign in with Apple, App Store distribution, TestFlight and, where implemented, Apple in-app purchasing.

OpenAI

OpenAI provides the API used to generate AI-assisted feedback for Writing exercises.

Stripe

Stripe processes eligible payments made through the web version of GoGetter Cambridge.

These providers may process information according to their respective terms, privacy policies and data-processing agreements.

We do not sell your personal information.

9. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers operate internationally. As a result, personal information may be processed outside Spain or the European Economic Area.

Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers of personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection law.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide GoGetter Cambridge, maintain your account, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce our agreements.

Account and learning data may generally be retained while your account remains active.

If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize personal data associated with the account unless retention of particular information is required or permitted by law.

Certain transaction records may need to be retained for accounting, taxation, fraud-prevention or other legal purposes.

Information processed by third-party providers may also be subject to their applicable retention periods.

11. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your GoGetter Cambridge account and associated personal information.

Account deletion may be initiated through the account deletion functionality provided by GoGetter Cambridge or by contacting:

When an account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with the account where required, subject to information that we are legally permitted or required to retain.

Deleting GoGetter Cambridge does not necessarily cancel subscriptions or purchases managed independently through Apple, Google or another payment provider. Where applicable, those services must be managed through the relevant provider.

12. Your Data Protection Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom or another jurisdiction providing similar rights, you may have rights concerning your personal data, including the right to:

• Request access to your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Request restriction of processing
• Object to certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Request portability of eligible personal data
• Lodge a complaint with the appropriate data-protection authority

If you are in Spain, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

13. Users Aged 13–17

GoGetter Cambridge is intended for users aged 13 and over.

Users under the age at which they may independently consent to the processing of personal data in their country should use the service only with the authorization or consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child in circumstances where legally required parental or guardian consent was not obtained, we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.

14. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

These measures include authenticated access to user information and the use of established cloud service providers.

However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their own login credentials and for protecting access to their devices and accounts.

15. Automated and AI-Generated Results

Some educational feedback in GoGetter Cambridge is generated automatically, including AI-assisted Writing feedback.

AI-generated assessments can contain errors and should be treated as educational guidance rather than authoritative examination results.

GoGetter Cambridge’s automated Writing assessment does not represent an official assessment by Cambridge University Press & Assessment, Cambridge English, or any associated examination body.

16. Third-Party Services and Links

GoGetter Cambridge may contain links to external websites or interact with third-party services.

Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third-party websites or services.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when GoGetter Cambridge changes, when our data-processing practices change, or when required by law or platform requirements.

When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the App or website.
