There have been numerous Intagrams trends in the past couple of years in the popular social network we check every minute, but this one, we believe, is going to sweep a large number of instagrammers off their feet. Not because it promotes perfect bodies or ideal locations, but because it promotes the goofiness we all have inside, unless you are dead, then you have no goofiness at all.

Our new social network heroine, who has, for us, achieved LEGEND status is none other than Michelle Liu (@chinventures). A modern-day revolutionary who spends her time travelling around the world and ‘chinning‘ to our delight. So, what is ‘chinning‘ then? It is simply leaning your head backwards while pushing your chin inwards, toward your neck, therefore creating a multiple chin effect, perfect for a selfie, or even better, a ‘chinfie‘.

A little throwback of me bridging the gap from chin to shining chin 🌉 let me know what your best tower pun or joke is 🙃

This particular trend is catching on due to the ‘normality’ it suggests. No more filters, no more right-angled pictures, no more perfect lighting. All these chin pictures show us the one and only thing we should do when travelling, which is just to have fun.

Please…Don’t hesitate to post your ‘chinfie’ on our Facebook or Twitter feeds showing us a bit of your fun side and the town you live in.

Happy ‘chinning’ everyone.
